“I've done all the tourist stuff in London this past week and this was by far the best. Incredible exhibit and including modern and historical people - so good!”

“One of the best museums I have visited in London – not that well known, and it should be. Fabulous presentation of historic interiors you will struggle to see outside a stately home. Well worth a visit. Unforgettable experience if you are in town.”

In the back is another table draped in moss green fabric with a pink vase. To the right, a richly patterned hangs against the shadowed wall.

A richly patterned red, black, and floral carpet with a stitched square textile laid at the centre, bordered in red, yellow, and orange. Five colourful check-patterned balls sit atop the textile. Scattered around the edges are old-fashioned toys, paper cards, and a small illustrated box, suggesting a Victorian-era play setting. The scene is lit with dim but warm light, with shadows cast diagonally across the composition.
